SECRETARY Speaks
Ms. Rakhi Jain
At all levels, education aims at changing the world for the better. Going deep into the apparent effect, one clearly observes that it turns out to be an accumulative factor instead of being a liberative one. We, at KVA, have been working incessantly to create an environment where children learn to act towards each other and towards their environment responsibly with understanding and compassion. In our endeavor to make the whole process inclusive at school, we operate from an indigenous experiential learning platform with the best of reflective- teaching practices. Designed primarily to keep active the spirit of curiosity, our lesson plans are meticulously executed in a manner that promotes independent thinking among students at all times. Pouring the whole being into our committed attempt to change the way children learn, each member of the KVA fraternity brings in incremental joy into acts of teaching & learning on a daily basis. As a result, a collaborative network springs forth wherein all kinds of learners get opportunities to blossom in due course without compromising on individual excellence through academic rigour & vigour. The trustworthy atmosphere of KVA not only helps its students deepen their understanding, broaden their horizons & heighten their perspectives but also brightens their insights to see and shape the world in new ways.
Happy Learning…

“A school nurtures future not just of an individual but of the entire nation” and at KVA this realization lies at the core. We strive to create thinkers and preserve the innate, curiosity and ingenuity of every learner so that he/she ventures out to transform and not just to confirm. I believe in the magic of the teacher-student bond and have witnessed the miracles created by my colleagues by bestowing unconditional support and faith upon the students.
We, as a team, work every day with all our hearts to create a learning abode where students feel that they belong, they are valued, they are learning and they are growing every day. The zeal and excitement with which our kids enter the premises keep us going each day !!
FROM THE PRINCIPAL’S DESK
MR. Rajesh Santhanam
A School is Not a Place.
It is a Promise. KVA was not built on the desire to produce rank-holders or certificate-bearers. It was built on something far more enduring — the belief that education, at its finest, is the deliberate, loving act of helping students discover who they are and what they are capable of. Across twenty-one remarkable academic sessions, this institution has honoured that belief with steadfast commitment. As I step into the role of Principal, I do not come to alter this legacy. I come to carry it forward, with renewed energy and deepened resolve.
Aligned with a Nation in Transformation
Guided by NEP 2020, CBSE is enacting its most ambitious curricular reimagination in decades — moving from rote learning toward competency-based education, embracing multidisciplinary pathways, and recognising art, sport, and life skills as core to a child’s development. These are not administrative changes. They are a philosophical awakening.
At KVA, this awakening is not new to us. Our individualised learning, portfolio-based mentoring, and collaborative classrooms have long embodied what national policy is now arriving at. We did not wait for a mandate. We followed the child. What we will now do is deepen this alignment — strengthening crosscurricular connections, ensuring assessments reflect genuine understanding, and building learning experiences rooted in the real world.
Educating for a World That Does Not Yet Exist
The children in our care today will inhabit a world shaped by artificial intelligence, climate urgency, and challenges without precedent. Our responsibility is not merely to transmit knowledge but to cultivate in each child the capacity to think independently, question courageously, and lead with conscience. A KVA graduate must be curious enough to keep learning long after school, grounded enough to act with integrity when no one is watching, and compassionate enough to know that their success is inseparable from the flourishing of those around them.
To Every Member of This Community
To our students: You are the entire reason this school exists — not the examinations you will write, but the human beings you are becoming. Bring your questions. Bring your doubts. This school is yours.
To our parents: You have entrusted us with what is most precious to you. I invite you into genuine partnership — as co-creators of an educational vision, not merely recipients of progress reports. Together, we will see your child whole.
To our teachers: You are the true heart of this institution. Every patient explanation, every moment of encouragement offered to a struggling child — these are the acts that change lives. I feel honoured to stand beside you.
And to the wider world: We send you young people who carry knowledge in their minds and kindness in their hearts. They will not merely occupy the world. They will improve it.
The promise of KVA has always been larger than any curriculum or ranking — it is the promise of a mind stretched, a character forged, and a life lived with purpose. That promise, I renew today, with humility and with hope.
